TekQyz was founded in response to a tragic event - the Kostenko mine disaster in which 46 miners lost their lives on October 28, 2023, in Kazakhstan. This incident, believed to be triggered by a methane gas explosion, led to a day of mourning nationwide and spurred government intervention. As a result, investments with the company ArcelorMittal Temirtau, the owner of the mine, were ceased. The team behind TekQyz, deeply moved by the devastating event and the loss of precious lives, came together with a shared passion to prevent such tragedies from happening again. We were driven by a mission to revolutionize workplace safety, particularly in hazardous environments like construction sites and mines. Using our knowledge in technology and safety engineering, we created a cutting-edge safety monitoring system to give immediate alerts and thorough data analysis to avoid dangers like fires, explosions, and other risks.
